Whitney Mercilus

Whitney Mercilus is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Merci Capital and the driving force behind the company’s operations and investing activity.

 

Before Merci Capital's inception, Mercilus was drafted 26th overall by the Houston Texans in 2012. Over the course of his decade-long career with both the Texans and the Green Bay Packers, he continued to excel, receiving honors such as the 2016 Second-Team All-Pro and being named a Pro-Bowl Alternate in 2019.

 

In parallel with his sports career, Mercilus ventured into the world of entrepreneurship investing in his first commercial asset in 2013, eventually founding Merci Capital in 2020. He is currently pursuing his executive MBA education at the prestigious Northwestern Kellogg School of Management.
